Penn Neurodegenerative Data Sharing Committee

Penn Neurodegenerative Data Sharing Request

The mission of the Penn Neurodegenerative Data Sharing Committee (PNDSC) is to progressively and compliantly share the rich sources of multimodal data collected in the Penn neurodegenerative community with internal and external research groups to foster collaboration and open-science. This includes data generated through the Penn Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC), Penn U19 Center on Alpha-Synuclein Strains in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders (U19), and the Penn Frontotemporal Degeneration Center (FTDC) along with associated data generated from collaborating investigators. The scope of data includes all non-consumable entities supported by our Core infrastructure like in vivo and ex vivo MRI/PET imaging, clinical/neuropsychological/motor data, as well as data and meta-data generated from biospecimens like genomics, biofluid analytes, and neuropathological ratings.  The sharing of consumable biospecimens including but not limited to blood, cerebrospinal fluid, and tissue is beyond the scope of the non-consumable scope of the PNDSC and instead handled by the Biospecimen Review Access Committee (BRAC).
